I'm Teaching at Next Level Knitting Conference

I'm super excited to be teaching two design-related classes at Next Level Knitting Conference in April 2024.

Writing Patterns

Learn the elements of a good pattern, industry standards in pattern-writing, charting, formatting, following templates, and more in this class designed for both aspiring knitwear designers and those working through the Master Hand Knitting program. This class is packed with information to help you write patterns that include everything that is needed, in an accurate, concise format which knitters will appreciate.

Designing Aran Sweaters

Designing an Aran sweater requires a different approach to traditional sweater design. This class will cover design decisions which need to be made early on in the design process, selecting and laying out cables, swatching, charting, and pulling it all together to create a balanced design that feels as good as it looks.

This virtual conference is so flexible! Knitters from all over the world can attend from the comfort of their home without travel expenses. But if you're not available on the conference dates, you can access all 32 classes and handouts, and watch or re-watch classes for 6 months after the conference. This is so helpful when you're learning a new technique or when you want to spread out the learning instead of packing it all into one weekend. Just be sure to register for the conference before April 15 or for early bird pricing, register before March 31, 2024.

Once you register for the conference, you will have access to all classes. You do not need to "sign-up" for my particular classes. You will receive log in instructions prior to the conference, then look at the schedule and click on my class a minute or so before the start time. You can even join once the class begins so if you need to get that extra cup of tea, go right ahead.

Next Level Knitting Conference is open to members of TKGA and non-members. To register, please visit https://tkga.org/conference/
