Peach Fuzz has been announced as Pantone’s 2024 color of the year!
Neutrals are trending so strong now, that it makes sense that the 2024 color of the year leans towards a softer shade instead of something bold and vibrant. I can see this color used in an overall, solid color garment or accessory, but also as an accent color.

What does this mean for knitters?
You'll first notice yarn companies highlighting their existing peach yarns. Look to yarn dyers to incorporate peach into variegated and speckled yarns, and perhaps create a new shade to match Pantone's Peach Fuzz.
New release designs will start to show either overall light peach colors or incorporate hints of light peach into multi-colored pieces. This is a good color for garments, accessories, baby items, and household decor. If you're not crazy about a total Peach Fuzz garment, it doesn't need to dominate your next project. You can experiment with this color by working a little peach into a striped, stranded, or slip stitch project.
What goes with Peach Fuzz?
Pair Peach Fuzz with blues, white, grey and neutrals.

What do you think? Do you like it or not? Will you look for yarns in this color for your upcoming knitting projects? I'd love to hear your thoughts!
